Wudang Mountain
Sanfeng Style 18 Movement Tai Ji Quan
Ongoing Drop-In Classes:
In this on-going, drop-in based class, students will be guided through collective qigong warm-ups and Tai Chi stance training that promotes deep relaxation, whole body circulation, and a strong foundation for learning and practicing Tai Chi. Students will then have the opportunity to learn and memorize the 18 Movement SanFeng Style Tai Chi routine. This routine takes just 3.5 minutes to practice, but at least 6-8 weeks to memorize with weekly attendance, and daily self-practice at home. After warm-ups and group practice, Greg will circulate amongst students to keep them learning the next movement in the routine for where they are currently at. Learning Tai Chi in a drop-in format requires some initiative to learn a movement and practice it on your own for a few minutes during class, while the teacher circulates to keep everyone learning the next move for where they are at. This encourages self-study and memorization of the movements, so you can practice regularly at home, and continue progressing each class.
